praying for iThemba

Our prayer supporters are vitally important to us as we continue to look to God for guidance and inspiration in all areas of iThemba’s work. Prayer is also an essential way of supporting our partners. Our desire is that as iThemba brings hope to those affected by HIV and AIDS, it will be a living example of God’s love for all people, regardless of race, religion, background or status.

We would love to keep you informed of iThemba prayer news. You can sign up to our bi-monthly prayer diary email or access ongoing prayer pointers.

More about the prayer diary
Every other month we will email you with a link to the latest prayer diary for you to download and print or use online. There is a prayer point for each day of the month and a common structure each week. Monday features an area of our work, Tuesday to Friday focus on a particular partner project and its prayer needs, Saturday features another project that works in that area and Sunday finishes the week with a prayer item for Engagehivaids.com or a global prayer need. From time to time, we will include specific prayers for iThemba as an organisation, but the main focus is on our partner projects working on the ground.

By praying on a daily basis, we hope you will feel closer to the people who are doing the hard work, bringing hope to people affected by HIV and AIDS. You can download the current prayer diary or visit the enews and prayer diary archive to see previous editions.

The iThemba team pray together every month on a Monday.

Thank you for your support.
